Course includes
The course includes 12 lessons. At each lesson, students will receive a new task or the information about the problem appears. To solve the task they will need to learn the problem and decide how to fix it or create the solution. The story introduced at the beginning of the lesson continues with a Scratch-based game.
The WeDo 2.0 robot built during the lesson is only part of the solution. Combined with a Scratch project (control console) it may become a controller for the game or may become a character of the game. Students must to fix the lack of console program code or add new features.
We introduce the interface and game mechanics of each game and make the accent on the game balance. Students can influence the game rules and find out how the parts of the game work together.
We use the game and exciting story to give students a reason to learn coding, arouse the desire to find out how the world works, and motivate them to learn STEM with a hands-on approach.
All you need is LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 Set 45300, Scratch 3.0 software and Internet connection.
We recommend this course for Students and Teachers familiar with Scratch 3.0 programming.
